Product Description
Mamofen is the tablet used to treat breast cancer primarily. It is the branded product and manufactured, as well as marketed by Khandelwal Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. It comes in the form of tablets and needs to be consumed orally. It comprises of Tamoxifen 10 mg.
It is a prescription drug, means that, it can be sold to the person, only when the person has the prescription of the doctor or medical practitioner. As the tablet contains Tamoxifen, which is ‘anti oestrogen.’ Oestrogen is the female sex hormone, which is needed by the cancerous cells to grow in some types of breast cancers. Mamofen blocks the effect of oestrogen making it anti cancerous. It is also used to reduce the risk of occurrence of breast cancer in women due to age or other high risk conditions.
