Suminat 100mg is a medication used for the treatment of acute migraine attacks. It contains the active ingredient Sumatriptan, which belongs to a class of medications known as triptans. It works by narrowing blood vessels around the brain, helping to relieve migraine symptoms such as headache, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound. This medication provides fast relief and can be taken at the onset of a migraine.

While Suminat 100mg can be effective, it may cause side effects, which can include:

- Tingling or a feeling of warmth or cold
- Rarely, serious side effects like heart attack, stroke, or serotonin syndrome can occur. Seek immediate medical help if you experience severe chest pain or any unusual symptoms.
- Take one 100mg tablet at the onset of a migraine attack.
- If your migraine returns or does not improve after the first dose, you can take a second dose after at least 2 hours, but no more than 200mg in 24 hours.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew or crush it.
- Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
