Locula Eye Drop 20% (10ml) is a medication commonly used to treat conditions associated with elevated intraocular pressure, such as glaucoma. This eye drop contains the active ingredient Latanoprost, which helps reduce pressure within the eye, allowing for improved drainage of intraocular fluid. Regular use of Locula Eye Drop can help prevent damage to the optic nerve caused by increased eye pressure, thereby reducing the risk of vision loss.
- Consult your doctor before using Locula Eye Drop if you have a history of eye conditions, such as uveitis, macular edema, or retinal disorders.
- Avoid wearing contact lenses while using this medication. Wait at least 15 minutes after applying the eye drop before inserting contact lenses.

Like all medications, Locula Eye Drop 20% may cause side effects, though not everyone experiences them. Common side effects include:

- Dry eyes or watery eyes If you experience severe side effects, such as difficulty breathing, swelling, or severe eye pain, seek medical attention immediately.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the eye drop.
- Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
- Gently squeeze the bottle to release one drop into the affected eye(s). Be careful not to touch the tip of the bottle to your eye or any surface.
- Close your eye and press gently on the inner corner of the eye (near the nose) for a minute to avoid the drop from draining.
- Use as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day, in the evening.
